Buzz Verde
Bass & Vocals
Buzz Verde (you might know him from his attorney alias Michael Green) has played in 41 bands over the years, ranging from country to blues to heavy metal to classic rock to 80s to, well, you get the idea. During his many musical adventures, Buzz has managed to bump into several musical luminaries along the way, like meeting Michael Stipe of R.E.M. one night at a club in Richmond, VA, or Will Smith at a recording studio in Atlanta, GA. By far his best story is when Prince sang “Raspberry Beret” with Buzz’s band The Cheesebrokers in Birmingham, AL. Buzz has had the privilege of playing in quite a few great bands with great musicians, but Little Radio is the culmination of a lifetime of playing music, and is Buzz’s absolute favorite of all the bands he’s been in. When he’s not playing bass, Buzz likes to bike, kayak, hike, and hang out with his wonderful wife, cool cat, and delightful dog.
Brad Quarry
Guitars & Vocals
Brad has played guitar in various bands around Portland for over twenty years. From hard rock to folky acoustic to soul and funk, Brad is well-versed in most genres. Just don't ask him to play any jazz. His guitar skills have brought him across many of Portland's storied stages, from the Alberta Street Pub to the Satyricon, The Crystal Ballroom, and even an opening slot for Black N' Blue at Dante's. It's taken some time, but in Little Radio Brad feels he has finally found the music that plays in his head.
Wayne Thompson
Drums and Vocals
Wayne has been an active member of the Portland/Vancouver music scene for decades, working with a wide range of artists as a drummer, keyboardist, and guitarist. He's also a singer-songwriter, producer, and engineer—bringing both performance and production chops to every project. Early in his career, Wayne worked as an engineer and producer at Sound Impressions Studio in Portland, Oregon, and he's continued to play and contribute on albums throughout the years. Inspired by the creative spark, Wayne loves helping artists shape a song from a few chords into a finished, release-ready piece.
